CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Dedicated 220V electrical circuit (also called 240V) is REQUIRED. Standard 110V wall outlets CANNOT power electric cooktops. If no 220V circuit exists, an electrician must install one (additional cost $400-800).
2. Existing ductwork underneath or behind the cooktop is MANDATORY. If no ductwork exists, it must be installed before cooktop installation (additional cost $800-2000+).
